In order to communicate with the contracting authority and to submit bids in a public tender, a participating company must undergo verification (this is not applicable to “Zákazka s nízkou hodnotou”). This is possible by using a registered electronic identity (eID), submission of a verified electronic signature by a company executive or proxy, or the submission of a power of attorney in the form of an authorized electronically converted document.
If a qualified electronic signature is used for authentication, it should be uploaded to JOSEPHINE after completion of registration. To apply an electronic signature, click on user card under the person icon at the top of the screen and then click on the electronic signature tab.

In other cases it is necessary to submit a Power of Attorney document as well as a qualified electronic signature (signed with the qualified electronic signatures of all parties involved or by an authorized electronically converted document). Mark the envelope clearly with the word JOSEPHINE.
In order to communicate with the contracting authority and to submit the bids/applications in a public tender no authentication of the participating company or any participants is required.
However, participation in some contracts may require a qualified electric signature to log in to the system. A qualified electronic signature must be first added to the user card and then used when required.
